Obama Foretold His Taking Out Bin Laden in 2008
Too Tough for Other Democrats
What did George Bush do to catch bin Laden? In 2005, he DISBANDED the CIA unit organized to capture bin Laden. Bush wasn't interested in catching bin Laden. Don't take my word for it, take the word of Mr. Bush in 2002 (just six months after 9/11). 2005, the year Bush disbanded his unity, was also conveniently the year bin Laden's mansion was being built.
What a difference in focus, poise and intensity. For those of you Obama-haters, open your eyes. Bush was an embarrassment and had little to no class. Obama stood up to the other Democratic candidates and dominated the conversation. Now, let's examine the attack on bin Laden.
Originally it was scheduled for March, but Obama delayed it. Why? Because it was a bombing mission that would have left little. Obama wanted the world to have a proof of death, so HE was responsible for the change in strategy, i.e., to go with a Special Ops mission using Navy Seals (I'll bet Jesse Ventura would have cut off his hair to go along).
Before the mission was to begin, Obama asked if they had a backup plan in the event one went down? They had not so they added backup helicopters and, what do you know, one DID GO DOWN. The backup helicopter got them out of there. The whole mission took 40 minutes. It was a PRECISION OPERATION and our Commander-in-Chief OBAMA, Leon Panetta, and the US Navy Seals deserve tremendous credit. In fact, if the reader is truly an American, he will fill with pride at their accomplishments.
Obama was especially smart to have the mission viewed on closed circuit TV in the Situation Room. The faces on the viewers tell quite a story:
How cool was Obama? Here he was the night before on the eve of conducting an operation that would go down in World History alongside such events as the JFK Assassination, on the anniversary of the death of Hitler:
Had Bush been responsible for conducting this operation, the right wing would be calling for him to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and to have his image carved up on Mt. Rushmore. No, they allow him a week to continue having to answer more questions about his credentials bo bozos like the Donald, and outright idiots like Sarah "I can see Alaska from here..." Palin.
Frankly, I'm fed up with these right-wingers who claim to be patriots. If you are a patriot, stand up and applaud a man who has shown superior leadership skills, and that he is tough -- very tough, when it comes to foreign policy and his dealings with terrorists. Cut out the worst disrespect of the Presidency that I have seen in my lifetime.
I am proud to have a President that is so cool under fire. One more thing. There was NO ONE SOURCE of information that led to bin Laden. Leon Panetta says without a doubt that this mission was accomplished WITHOUT waterboarding, which Republicans insist is the reason Bush should receive credit. Waterboarding! Torture that is BANNED by the Geneva Convention. That is what the Republicans stand for. Grow up, children. Be patriotic. Salute our President. He has earned it.
"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
Ever since Barack Obama became a candidate, Jeff Rense of http://rense.com has made every effort to attack Obama, caring little about the accuracy of the "stories" he prints. Today he reached a new low. The link above leads to what Rense claims is the true birth certificate of Barack Obama.
For all to see is an added line at the bottom which says: "Birthplace: Kenya; Registered Honolulu. HRS 338.17.8 Registered by grandmother.
One big problem, Jeffy boy. HRS 338.17.8 did not become law until 1982, 21 years AFTER his birth. Your credibility, or whatever there ever was of it, is SHOT.
This article simply echoes what we have been saying. Your dollar will continue to buy less and less. Protect yourself and gather at least small denominations of silver and gold.
With the dollar sinking in value like a stone, this video explains what MAY HAPPEN in the event it collapses. A wake-up call for Americans with no Plan B.
This is an insightful article on the Japanese tsunami, earthquake and nuclear failure that will impact the entire world in many destructive ways. Important reading.
China's foreign trade was almost always settled in dollars. Lately the use of the yuen has increased substantially. If China abandons the dollar -- we are in serious trouble. Got some cash set aside? Trade it for gold or silver now and protect yourself.
During the Eisenhower and Kennedy years, America's economy was booming. The rich paid 90% on their income taxes, that's right, 90%. They were still very rich and their tax contributions helped build a strong infrastucture, and this country expanded with new roads and highways, schools and hospitals, etc. The economy was flourishing.
We were doing very well during the Clinton years as well and he left us with a huge surplus. The rest is history. George W Bush gave away that surplus to his wealthy cronies that helped him buy first the Republican nomination, then the election. Since that wasn't enough, Bush opened the southern borders to illegal immigrants and at the same time outsourced our best paying jobs to places like India. That still wasn't enough to insure that the US middle class only earned wages on a par with most third world countries so he started two wars -- off the books.
Bush was wildly successful. He has decimated the American economy and has sent the US dollar on a downward spiral that will end with the loss of its status as the world's reserve currency. This is an urgent warning to all: Start exchanging your cash for silver and gold now, before it is too late.
America is at a point in its existence that is far more dangerous than ever before. In the 1960s, the wealthiest paid 90% in income tax. That's right, 90%. The wealthy were still rich, no matter how you cut it, but their contributions to our society paid for hospitals, schools, bridges, highways, etc. The country flourished.
Over the years, various presidents have reduced that amount until at the present time when they are paying 35%. Now the Republican Party (the party of evil) plans to reduce the 35% to 25%, and have it made up by the elderly and the poor. Enough is enough.
George W. Bush struck the final blow to our economy. The death blow. He took a healthy surplus from Bill Clinton who had balanced the budget, and gave that surplus away to the cronies who had paid for his election. He called it "tax cuts for the rich". I call it corporate welfare. At the same time he started two wars off the books -- unpaid for.
Unfortunately, in 1971, Tricky Dick Nixon took the United States off the gold standard. Prior to that, every dollar printed by the US Mint was backed by gold. It was worth something. In 1971, when the US Dollar took over from the British Sterling as the world's reserve currency, Nixon decided all future money printed didn't need to be backed by gold, but by the good faith and credit of the United States. The paper we are printing is exactly that -- paper. It is virtually worthless and soon will be.
Further articles will deal with the economic situation and the disaster facing the unaware American people. I suggest you view this video entitled, The Day the Dollar Died for a look into the near future.
It may not happen exactly like this, but the standing as the world's reserve currency for the US Dollar is rapidly coming to a close. Just this week, billionaire George Soros announced that the US Dollar is no longer the world's reserve currency. What does this mean to you?
Sam Zell (the 60th richest man in America according to Forbes Magazine, and one of the world's best investors), did a rare interview with CNBC. Here's what he said:
"My single biggest financial concern is the loss of the dollar as the reserve currency. I can't imagine anything more disastrous to our country. I'm hoping against hope that ain't gonna happen, but you're already seeing things in the markets that are suggesting that confidence in the dollar is waning. I think you could see a 25% reduction in the standard of living in this country if the US dollar was no longer the world's reserve currency. That's how valuable it is."
What will you do if and when your dollar can no longer purchase what you need? When a loaf of bread costs $5 and a gallon of gas is between $8-10? We'll deal with those issues in articles to follow.
As a result, property values continue to plunge. Until and unless banks stop this short sale madness and adopt a sensible plan that stops the neighborhood decline, such as using a program such as HOPES, which provides equity sharing that allows the homeowner to remain in the home, this decline will continue.
Tokyo is only about 160 miles from the site of the reactors that are melting down. As radiation levels rise in the region it is a firm guarantee that more and more radioactivity will fall out on Tokyo.
No doubt about it.
The inevitable consequence of that will be a dramatic withering of the cultural, social, commercial and economic life of the huge Tokyo megalopolis. As more and more people abandon Tokyo it will become a radioactive shadow of its former self. Of course the economic implications of that for global finance and commerce are immense, Tokyo is one of the three major centers of high finance in the world, along with London and New York, so its abandonment therefore has ineluctable repercussions that will rock the modern, global civilization to its core.
Do you think I'm full of it? That I don't know what I'm talking about?
Tell that to the 25 foreign governments that have already either closed their embassies in Tokyo, or have evacuated Tokyo and moved their embassies to Osaka. (5)
Tell that to the international bankers who are now fleeing Tokyo and Japan in droves. (6)
Tell that to the U.S. Navy which announced on March 17th that it was prepared to evacuate as many as 87,000 personnel if necessary. (7)
Tell that to the USO that announced two days later on March 19th that the U.S. Military has begun a voluntary evacuation of up to 200,000 military personnel and their dependents from Japan. (8, 9)
While all of this has been going on the Japanese government has also urged more evacuations and quietly widened the evacuation zone around the melting down Fukushima reactors. (10, 11)
The plain English translation of all of this activity is that the evacuation of Fukushima, of Japan, and of Tokyo, has already begun.
Twenty years ago I was playing in a Senior professional team tournament with my partner, Clyde Daniels, a good friend and former great athlete from Texas. Clyde was now a local club pro raising his kids in Sacramento, and playing for dinero on the side. During this round he was raving about a 15-year old kid with the greatest natural talent he had ever seen. He described how this young phenom could already outhit him by 30 yards, and Clyde was known as a very long hitter. That was my introduction to Tiger Woods.
Over the years, I, like many American males, adopted Tiger as my own and rooted for him with zeal as he amazed us over and over again with his feats on the golf course. Whether it was hitting shots nobody had ever dreamed of hitting, or sinking putts from amazing distances and with incredible breaks, Tiger would consistently amaze us.
Since sabotaging his own life and career, Tiger began the long climb back to what he hopes is his return to domination on the tour. I understand his wanting to change his lifestyle and personal habits and to become a great parent. But, in my opinion, he has taken his mantra for change too far. It's one thing to change your personal habits, quite another to take one of the best swings ever and completely re-do it. As I watch him continue to struggle with the robotic swing changes instituted by "guru" Sean Foley, I can only cringe.
If his dad was alive today, he would be very frustrated. The line "beware of false prophets" comes to mind. David Ledbetter, Butch Harmon, Hank Haney, Sean Foley, the names are well-known. So-called swing gurus and nowadays all the pros have them. I find it ridiculous. The great players of yesterday never used a swing coach, other than those who relied upon the wisdom of their dads. I can never imagine Jack Nicklaus or Sam Snead going to someone else for daily advice. It never happened.
Tiger now calls himself Ranger Rick, because he hits the ball so well on the range, but can't bring it to the course. Of course you can't, Tiger, and you won't. As your dad would have told you, when you are playing under pressure, you ALWAYS return to your natural instincts and swing -- always.
I can understand swing changes as we age and our bodies change. In my case, I underwent multiple spinal surgeries in my early 30's. All my childhood dreams of playing on the PGA Tour were put to rest. Doctors said I would never play again. So, never one to be told I can't do something, I shortened my backswing and had a 51-inch driver made to accommodate the changes. It worked and my dream came true at age 50 when I got a win in a Senior mini-tour event and got a 292 yard hole in one on a par 4 in the same year.
Swing changes are sometimes necessary, but Tiger has taken it too far. The greatest putter in history with the greatest short game has changed his chipping and putting styles to "alter the release point", whatever the hell that means. His dad must be screaming at him from above, "Return to your natural swing and stroke". Tiger's perfectly smooth stroke is now a quick jab. He regularly misses putts from six feet and under when he used to do things like make 49 out of 50.
Here is something to remember, Tiger. Under extreme pressure, we will always do what comes naturally. Your guru can tell you over and over to swing a certain way or to stroke the ball a certain way, but when the tv cameras are on and the whole world is watching, your natural instincts take over. It's why they call them "natural". So, Tiger, after your Masters experience in a couple of weeks and I wish you the very best, my recommendation is to dump your latest guru and return home.
Immediately dump this new putting stroke. Watch videos of your swing and stroke ten (10) years ago and get back to that fluid swing. Dump Foley. You are starting to look very robotic and mechanical, and that, coupled with few smiles, slammed clubs, loud profanity, and an old sourpuss, makes me long for the energetic, smiling Tiger. It's not much fun watching you anymore, pal, and that is very sad. Let's send Ranger Rick packing and get Tiger back. Good luck.
