Brewer Brainfart Exposes Mental Deficiency
The appointed Governor of Arizona demonstrate her verbal acuity before the world in a televised debate against her Democratic rival, Terry Goddard, an intelligent and dignified opponent. This was to be the first of SIX debates. Gov. Brewer immediately cancelled all future debates after this classic performance.

It's just a tiny but graphic example of how pathetic our system has become. I feel for her, in some way, yet I shudder to think what goes on behind closed doors. Then I think of Sara Palin, and even though I can manage to bring myself to admire some of what she does, it scares the hell out me to think that she's going to run in 2012...and that the GOP doesn't have anyone better able to get votes than her. Then I think of the mentality of over half the people in this country, and realize that she could actually get elected. If George W. could make it with the power behind his family, you know that they could groom her until the mass majority of Americans might just say, "Hell with it...why not a woman with a little gumption? See how she's cleaned herself up?"
