America Suffers In a Republican Economy

The Republican Party likes to claim it is the party of compassionate Conservatives, the party that keeps government small and spending down. NOT TRUE. The Republican Party has stripped a huge surplus, divided it among the large donors who contributed to buying the election for George W. Bush and enriched its corporate buddies to the tune of billions of dollars and thousands of lives.

The goal of Mr. Bush's Republican Party was to decimate the middle class and move toward a global economy. A global economy REQUIRES a level playing field for the workers. So, Mr. Bush has done all he could to send the high-paying jobs overseas by providing tax breaks to American corporations to do just that. The goal was to lower the standard of living for American workers. That is exactly why Mr. Bush has fought hard to leave our southern borders unprotected.

When I was a young boy, an old man once told me that if I wanted to live like a Republican, I would have to vote Democrat and vice-versa. As we approach the next Presidential election it is noteworthy that EVERY Republican candidate with the exception of Ron Paul, wants to continue the war in Iraq which is devastating our country at home. The money that is being wasted in the Middle East is badly needed to go to our badly deteriorating infrastructure in this country. This is the result of Republican economics.

America cannot afford to wait any longer. Change is vital, and Barack Obama is the leader we need to bring about that change.
