Bill Clinton: "Vote for Candidate of Hope"
Be careful of what you ask for, Bill.

Bill Clinton: "If you elect ME. . ."
Barack Obama, a brilliant strategist, subtly attacked Bill's ego in a radio broadcast where he stated that the one presidential administration that was truly transformative over the past several decades was that of Ronald Reagan, who truly set this country on a different course. He added, "unlike the presidencies of Nixon or Clinton". Bill's ego wouldn't allow him to accept this and he went on a wild binge, yelling and pointing his figure at the press, at individuals, using the race card not a bit subtly, and constantly complaining that Barack Obama doesn't honor his (Bill's) accomplishments during his administration.
Bill even complained about this last week, so Obama's little dig REALLY got Old Bill in the ego. Yesterday, he even forgot that it was his wife running, not him. Check out this video:

It's still ALL ABOUT BILL.

NAFTA: Should Obama be Ashamed?
Hillary Clinton is AGAIN lashing out at Barack Obama accusing him of sending out mailers with false information. Obama's mailers tell the truth. Her health care plan WOULD - as a possible method of forcing citizens to purchase it - GARNISH WAGES. She said so HERSELF after STUBBORNLY trying to dance around admitting it in the debates.
NAFTA? When her husband passed it, she thought it was GREAT. Hillary Clinton supported it, now wants to change it. In the past she had praised it. Neither of Obama's claims are untrue.
Barack Obama Responds:
What Did Hillary Clinton REALLY say?
On Healthcare Mandates:
Obama's mailer was criticized because it inferred that Hillary's healthcare plan will be forced on everyone and those who don't buy it will be subject to enforcement, includng garnished wages. Here is the truth:
On NAFTA:
The Effects of Clinton's NAFTA Support:
Now, let's review:
It is Hillary Clinton who should be ashamed.

Hillary Teaches Plagiarism 101
I have previously pointed out how she stole the phrases, "I'm fired up and ready to go" and "turn the page" from Obama himself. When she tried to get her audience to chant, "Yes we will", I recoiled in disgust. How is that not plagiarism? So I conducted a bit of research which turned up the following pieces of obvious plagiarism by Hillary Clinton. Judge for yourself.
Hillary copies Obama
Hillary copies John Edwards
Hillary copies John Edwards & Bill Clinton
Hillary copies Bill Clinton
Finally, we come to the final lines of last night's debate with Obama. Interestingly, she said that she was "honored to be there with Barack Obama", which was probably the most original line she said all night. In my opinion, she realized that she was facing an opponent that was unlike any she or Bill had ever faced before -- a phenomenon. So, she stole Johm Edwards' final lines.
That should put an end to her charges against Obama and puts into question the character of someone who levels false charges against another to coverup her own unethical activities.

Update: Hillary and Bill Clinton Face Trial for Fraud!
If the Clintons are successful in undermining the Obama movement, which is the first sign of hope for progressive Americans since the assassination of Bobby Kennedy, they will fracture the Democratic party. Bill damaged it enough with his lies in the '90's. It led to Bush winning the Presidency and the unnecessary deaths of thousands in Iraq. Those who say, "Clinton lied and nobody died" are WRONG.
What damage will be done this time????? As to ethics, I strongly recommend that you take the time to watch the next two videos on the ILLEGAL antics of Hillary Clinton. It appears that Mrs. Clinton has learned well from her husband. They are two of a kind and a danger to America if they should reside in the White House. This, from someone who has NEVER voted for a Republican -- EVER.
It is time for all Democrats to reject the old-time politics of the Bushes and Clintons and say: "ENOUGH".
At the conclusion of a hearing TODAY before California Superior Court Judge Aurelio N. Munoz, lawyers for Hollywood mogul Peter F. Paul will begin seeking sworn testimony from all three Clintons – Bill, Hillary and Chelsea – along with top Democratic Party leaders and A-list celebrities, including Barbra Streisand, John Travolta, Brad Pitt and Cher.
According to the complaint, Bill Clinton promised to promote Paul's Internet entertainment company, Stan Lee Media, in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to Hillary's 2000 Senate campaign. Paul says he was directed by the Clintons and Democratic Party leaders to produce, pay for, and then join them in lying about footing the bill for a Hollywood gala and fundraiser.
Paul claims former Vice President Al Gore, former Democratic Party chairman and Pennsylvania Governor, Ed Rendell, and Clinton's campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe are among the people aware that Paul engaged in the deal.
Paul claims that Rendell directed various illegal contributions to the DNC, and that Hillary Clinton's campaign and failed to report to the Federal Election Commission more than $100,000 given for a Hollywood event for Gore's campaign and the Democratic National Committee in 2000.
Paul says that McAuliffe counseled him in two separate meetings to become a major donor to Hillary Clinton to pave the way to hire her husband. Paul asserts top Clinton adviser Harold Ickes also directed him to give money to the Senate campaign but hid that fact in "perjured testimony" during the trial of her senate campaign director David Rosen.
CLINTONS TO FACE FRAUD TRIAL
Sen. Clinton's actions as shown in the film violated the following U.S. Statutes:
2 U.S.C. Sec 441a (a)(7)(B)(I) provides:
Expenditures made by any person in cooperation, consultation, or concert, with, or at the request or suggestion of, a candidate, his authorized political committees, or their agents, shall be considered to be a contribution to such candidate. (Therefore Peter Paul's expenditures cannot be deemed to be a "soft money" contribution)
(f) No candidate shall knowingly accept any contribution in violation of the provisions of this section...
(a)(1)(A) No person shall make contributions... to any candidate with respect to any election for Federal office which, in the aggregate, exceed $2,000.
2 U.S.C. Sec 437g(d)(1)(A)(I) provides:
Any person who knowingly and willfully commits a violation of any provision of this act which involves the making, receiving, or reporting of any contribution, donation, or expenditure (I) aggregating $25,000 or more during a calendar year shall be fined under Title 18, or imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or both...

Clinton Desperate: Plagiarizes, Then Accuses Obama
Why has Hillary resorted to stealing Obama's lines and themes and then accusing him of plagiarizing a few phrases from his friend, Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts? Let's examime that. Her first theme was "Experience" and the "fact" that she would be ready on Day One. Her experience is illusory. We don't know what she did during her husband's eight years in office. He won't allow the records to be released. We do know that her tactics and secrecy resulted in a failed healthcare plan.
Her legislative accomplishments are, politely, a joke. She has seven years of elected legislative experience to Obama's twelve. Here is an excellent quote from Dick Morris on this subject:
"Her legislative accomplishments in her first term in the Senate were almost entirely symbolic. She renamed a courthouse after Justice Thurgood Marshall. She passed a resolution honoring Alexander Hamilton and another celebrating the win of a Syracuse University lacrosse team. She renamed post offices, founded a national park in Puerto Rico and expressed the sense of the Senate that Harriet Tubman should have gotten a federal pension 150 years ago.
Her only actual legislation included one bill to increase nurse recruitment, another to aid respite time for Alzheimer’s care givers and another to expand veterans’ health benefits, a paltry output for six years’ service.
In her second term, she has spent full-time campaigning for president and has the worst attendance record of the three senators now still in the presidential race.
So who is she kidding? If she wants to hit Obama with a negative based on his inexperience and limited legislative record, she should go right ahead. But to pretend that she is the “solutions” and “answers” person while he gives speeches is absurd."
The MOST IMPORTANT trait the new President must possess is SOUND JUDGMENT. If he or she is going to be ready on Day One, making the right decision the first time is mandatory. Let's examine Hillary's decision-making:
- She voted for the War in Iraq = bad judgment.
- She voted for the Bankruptcy Law then said she hoped it wouldn't pass - bad judgment.
- She supported NAFTA - bad judgment.
- She won't release her tax records until AFTER she gets the nomination even though Obama and McCain have released theirs - bad judgment.
- She sat on the Board at Wal-Mart for six years where their lead attorney called union workers "blood-sucking parasites" and did NOTHING to help the workers - bad judgment.
- She steals Obama's lines and themes, and then attacks him and accuses him of plagiarism - bad judgment.
We can't afford someone who lacks the ability to make sound judgments the FIRST TIME.
So, in utter desperation, she has been stealing ideas from Obama for the past several weeks to the point that my wife brought it up to me and expressed disgust. Here is "Yes We Can" as it was meant to be sung:
If there is one thing we can take from the Clintons recent behavior, it is that they will DO OR SAY ANYTHING to get the nomination. Americans will not be fooled by this old-style down and dirty politics. The Clintons are YESTERDAY'S NEWS. Go Obama.

Experience? Hillary's Legislative Record Exposed
I have found many of Hillary's claims to be not true, such as is illustrated in the ad she is running in Wisconsin. Let's take a closer look at who's really qualified and or who's really working for the good of all of us in the Senate, Obama or Clinton.
Senator Clinton, who has served only one full term – 6 years - and another year campaigning, has managed to author and pass into law 20 pieces of legislation in her first six years.
These bills can be found on the website of the Library of Congress www.thomas.loc.gov, but to save you trouble, here they are:
1. Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site.
2. Support the goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month.
3. Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
4. Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall.
5. Name courthouse after James L. Watson.
6. Name post office after Jonn A. O'Shea.
7. Designate Aug. 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
8. Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
9. Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death.
10. Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
11. Congratulate the Le Moyne College Dolphins Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
12. Establish the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Program.
13. Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda.
14. Honor Shirley Chisholm for her service to the nation and express condolences on her death.
15. Honor John J. Downing, Brian Fahey, and Harry Ford, firefighters who lost their lives on duty. Only five of Clinton's bills are, more substantive.
16. Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11.
17. Pay for city projects in response to 9/11 18. Assist landmine victims in other countries.
19. Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care.
20. Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the wilderness preservation system.
There you have it, the facts straight from the Senate Record.
Now, let's compare that to Obama's Senate record. Unfortunately, but the list of his legislative accomplishments is too WAY TO LONG, so I'll categorize. During the first 8 years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
233 regarding healthcare reform,
25 on poverty and public assistance,
12 crime fighting bills,
97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
21 ethics reform bills,
5 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, Obama authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included **the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law, **The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, - became law, **The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate, **The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, - became law, **The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.
In all, since entering the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096.
An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record according to Hillary Clinton, who would prefer that this comparison not be made public.
Barack Obama is not just a talker. He's a doer. Just compare how they have managed their campaigns. Hillary dumped all her money and pinned all her hopes on winning the nomination by Super Tuesday. She failed. BAD JUDGMENT. She had no plans beyond that.
Barack Obama out-strategized her, outmanaged her, and out-financed her. His judgment appears impeccable. He OPPOSED the Iraq War. She voted to authorize it. He seems to be a step ahead of her at every turn. That is the kind of brilliance we NEED in the White House.
Oprah said it best: "I'm voting for Barack Obama, not because he is black, but because he is brilliant."
Yes we can!

A Prediction: Obama/Edwards to Deliver Knockout Punch
There has been all kinds of speculation since John Edwards met with Hillary Clinton last week and was scheduled to meet with Barack Obama yesterday (postponed) around an Edwards endorsement. Here's my take on the matter. I believe that last week Edwards let Hillary know that she would not be receiving his endorsement. This became quite clear to me yesterday as I watched Kathleen Kennedy Townsend downplay the importance of any endorsement, let alone that of John Edwards.
If John was going to endorse Hillary, you can bet Kennedy-Townsend would have been talking up the importance of endorsements. He is not, and she did not.
Now, let's get down to the "postponed" meeting between my two favorite Democratic candidates, the two most likely to produce the change we are all seeking. In my humble opinion, the two men discussed on the phone, the fact that the Battle for the Beltway tonight (the DC, Maryland and Virginia primaries) should result in a second-in-a-row CLEAN SWEEP for Obama. That will give him EIGHT STRAIGHT VICTORIES in EIGHT STRAIGHT STATES. That momentum, PLUS the decided financial advantage have him poised for the big three: OHIO, TEXAS and PENNSYLVANIA.
If Barack Obama wins any one of those states, Hillary Clinton's presidential hopes are toast. What better time than AFTER sweeping eight straight states for John Edwards to enter the fray and not only endorse, but join Barack on the campaign trail? The KNOCKOUT IS NEAR.
Now, let's go even a bit further. Which state is most likely to fall to Obama? I say it's between Texas and Ohio. Texas has an arcane primary caucus system, one in which delegates are based upon voter turnout in prior gubernatorial and presidential elections. Because voter turnout in those elections was VERY LOW among Hispanics whom Hillary MUST depend upon, and much higher in the major African-American districts in Houston and Dallas, Clinton's supposed big advantage with Hispanics is lessened. The addition of Edwards may well mean victory for Obama in Texas.

MY Prediction: Obama will be the nominee before June of this year.

Why Would Any Labor Union Endorse Hillary Clinton?
During the period Hillary was on the Board, WalMart opened between 170 and 250 stores per year, not including an additional 25-50 Sam's Clubs. She would have had to have had her head in the sand not to know that plenty of people, including unions, were criticizing WalMart during this period for destroying local mom and pop stores.
For someone who would like to compete for John Edwards' supporters who represent the workers of America, it will be difficult for her to justify turning a blind eye to the treatment by WalMart of its employees and its disdain for the welfare of local businesses in the community. In fact, WalMart Attorney John Tate often referred to labor unions as "blood sucking parasites". This is one more example of the "flip-flop" behavior of Mrs. Clinton on this and many other issues such as Iraq, licenses for illegal immigrants, etc.
Independent Focus Group Names Debate Winner
A historic event took place on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles. The debate between the two remaining Democratic candidates for President took place between Hillary Clinton, who would become the first female president, and Barack Obama, who desires to become the first president of African-American lineage.
Following the Democratic debate in Los Angeles, a FOX News focus group of independent voters show whom they have decided to support.
