A Breath of Fresh Air

Ready for Market Now

The BBC reported on the French version of this technology which we featured in an earlier item. This report from Australia goes into more depth and also covers an Australian version.

How many billions of dollars in research and development funds would the big auto makers claim they need to get this far? Yet, the technology is here now, ready to exploit - and it is not being used. What's the hangup?

Why are we still:

* allowing ourselves to be dependent on foreign countries for our energy?
* spending billions to transport and refine a highly toxic material?
* polluting our air thereby sickening and killing people, especially children, with toxic fumes?
* putting a massive, daily "transportation tax" on everyone who drives a car?

If you agree, pass it on and let your Congressman know how you feel.

  1. Why are we still:

    * allowing ourselves to be dependent on foreign countries for our energy?

For the USA it's a combination of the Green party and International bankers not wanting the USA to be independent of international needs(aka control).

    * spending billions to transport and refine a highly toxic material?

Because nuclear power generates more in a year than all of the USA's wind farms combine for more than 4 years.

    * polluting our air thereby sickening and killing people, especially children, with toxic fumes?

People who may not have existed at all if the power company's hadn't been built to begin with!

    * putting a massive, daily "transportation tax" on everyone who drives a car?

And will only exist if the Green Party gets it's way!

Oh but wait! The USA's EPA now has to restrict ALL CO2 emissions and not just vehicles. Just trucked in produce, TV's, video games, clothes, paints, CFL's, and every other good that produces CO2 during it's making and distributional! With projections placing the cost at around $1000 US per household and upwards of 8 million jobs lost.

Gee I don't know... But I think I'll pass on drinking the Global Warming Kool-Aid if it's gonna force me to radically change my lifestyle...

  3. Nice insult. As soon as you offer a moderate amount of intelligence to the table I'll listen to you, but until then I won't.

  4. Frank,

You brought that one on yourself. You obviously are to the right of Attila the Hun and your acerbic tone doesn't go a long way. Feel free to post here but I won't tolerate personal attacks.

  5. Hardly. Though if I am by your opinion then you would fit right in among those in the ED who set on fire SUV's.

I'm a moderate who hates extremism. Because neither is correct more than it's incorrect. Change for Change's sake isn't any better than Greed for Greed's sake.

  6. Change for necessity's sake is what Obama is facing thanks to the intentional bankrupting of this country by Mr. Bush. He has achieved his goal of a true global economy now that the American middle class has been decimated and we are now truly a third world country.
