FOX Promoting War with Iran

Here they go again:

In my opinion, the FOX "News" Network is no different than the old Soviet TASS News Agency, promoting the Bush administration quest for war once again. Had it not been for FOX's manic support of war with Iraq and its influence on other news networks, we may not have had the blind support of Democrats signing the authorization bill, and cooler heads may have prevailed. However, FOX did cheerlead for the War in Iraq, and supposed antiwar Senators like Hillary Clinton, blindly voiced their support and voted along with "President" Bush.

Robert Greenwald's new video exposes how Rupert Murdoch's FOX is beating the drums of war with Iran like it did before the Iraq war--using the same images and Bush talking points. Sign the open letter urging other TV stations to ask tough questions and not follow FOX's lead on Iran.

AN OPEN LETTER:

Dear ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN,

"My station was intimidated by the administration and its foot soldiers at FOX News."

That is CNN's Christiane Amanpour explaining why the major television networks failed to properly scrutinize the Bush Administration's claims before the Iraq war, choosing instead to follow FOX's lead in beating the drums of war.

Now, FOX is beating the drums of war with Iran. In 2003, FOX said "Al Qaeda is in Baghdad" and evidence of WMDs was "irrefutable." In 2007, they suggest Iran "is forging ties with Al Qaeda" and the evidence against Iran is "unequivocal."

FOX is a propaganda machine. But as a real news station, you have a sacred responsibility to dig to the bottom of stories and report the truth to the American people. Please don’t repeat the mistakes of the past by blindly following FOX down the road to war.

Sign this letter to STOP FOX's March to War with Iran.
