Avoiding Swine Flu Hysteria

#1. Do The Math.

The greater Mexico City Metropolitan area has a population of 22 million (22,000,000) people according to Wikipedia. Many millions of them live in crushing poverty, poor health and with poor sanitary conditions.

1,000 "cases" (which is higher than the so-far reported number) equals 0.005% of the population. 60 deaths equals 0.0003% of the population. Let's keep everything in perspective.

#2 Deaths?

Of the few deaths, no one has mentioned who these casualties are. Are they elderly or infirm people who could just as easily be killed by the common cold or a slip and fall? It makes a difference.

#3 The long history of government/pharmaceutical industry scams

These guys have tried to institute national flu vaccination programs before. The last time was 1976 (under Gerald Ford). The public recognized the foolishness and danger involved in accepting the government vaccine and rejected it. The much-threatened "pandemic" never happened.

SWINE FLU SCAM

Let's all use common sense.

Who Killed the Microbiologists?

Dangerous Occupation

We recently ran an article entitled, Is Swine Flu Pandemic a Bush/Cheney Production? Well, much like many believe with 9/11, they may have had considerable help.

MOSSAD (Israels Secret Service) Liquidates 310 Iraqi Scientists
Mathaba.net 10-31-2004

More than 310 Iraqi scientists are thought to have perished at the hands of Israeli secret agents in Iraq since fall of Baghdad to US troops in April 2003, a seminar has found. The Iraqi ambassador in Cairo, Ahmad al-Iraqi, accused Israel of sending to Iraq immediately after the US invasion 'a commando unit' charged with the killing of Iraqi scientists.

"
Israel has played a prominent role in liquidating Iraqi scientists. The campaign is part of a Zionist plan to kill Arab and Muslim scientists working in applied research which Israel sees as threatening its interests," al-Iraqi said.

Others questioned our story about the 40 dead microbiologists and wanted them identified. Further research reveals there were 88 killed. First there was the Marconi Scientists Mystery. In the 1980s over two dozen science graduates and experts working for Marconi or Plessey Defence Systems died in mysterious circumstances, most appearing to be 'suicides.' The MOD denied these scientists had been involved in classified Star Wars Projects and that the deaths were in any way connected.

This is a list of microbiologist who have died since 2000 that should satisfy the morbidly curious:

Preparing for Swine Flu and Martial Law

Mass vaccination of the population in just 48 hours?

That's what FEMA wants to be ready to do - and they're training local officials for it.

An Indiana county municipal official in the vicinity of Chicago reveals the contents of his meetings with FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. The initial requests seem reasonable enough when FEMA asks the county officials to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan to deal with flooding, fires, high winds and tornadoes.

But as the required meetings and calls with FEMA and DHS continue over a two year period their request become more unusual, raising suspicions of county officials

From the audio:

We want to know every important thing in this county. We want to know where police departments are. Where weapons are stored. Hazardous material. Where can we land a helicopter. Where are the airports. How big a plane can you land at the airport. Where are all the bridges. Where are all the power stations. Where are all the generating stations.Where are all the substations. They literally wanted to know where everything was. Im sitting there thinking man if there was ever martial law. This kind of information is exactly the kind of stuff they are going to want. Were just laying it all out for them right there.

Shoddy science and media hysteria... Using public health scares to terrorize the public and push government/big pharma
agendas. Get the facts about "swine flu" and share with your friends.

During the legally mandated meetings held with FEMA and DHS different disaster scenarios were reveled to county officials:

• In late December 2008 municipal officials were invited to Indianapolis for a briefing on the state of Indiana. There were told if industry were to collapse for example GM going bankrupt resulting in mass unemployment a depression would soon follow and municipalities could expect to loose 40% of their funds.

• Every county in the nation would be required to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan.

• The county should prepare a plan to vaccinate the entire population within 48 hours and practice the plan several times.

• FEMA inquired to where mass graves could be placed in the county and would they accept bodies from elsewhere.

• The sheriffs department via the state sheriff association was told that no .223 ammunition rounds would be available as the military would be purchasing all stocks.

• The county was asked to make plans for hardening of police and fire stations, putting in hardened bunker type buildings around town.

• The county was asked to make plans for the possibility of up to 400,000 refugees from Chicago.

Arlen Spector Becomes a Democrat

Senator Arlen Spector has stunned his Repubican cohorts by switching parties and becoming a Democrat. Once Norm Coleman gives up his lost cause against Al Franken, the magic number of 60 will have been reached. Here is his statement:
I have been a Republican since 1966. I have been working extremely hard for the Party, for its candidates and for the ideals of a Republican Party whose tent is big enough to welcome diverse points of view. While I have been comfortable being a Republican, my Party has not defined who I am. I have taken each issue one at a time and have exercised independent judgment to do what I thought was best for Pennsylvania and the nation.

Since my election in 1980, as part of the Reagan Big Tent, the Republican Party has moved far to the right. Last year, more than 200,000 Republicans in Pennsylvania changed their registration to become Democrats. I now find my political philosophy more in line with Democrats than Republicans.

When I supported the stimulus package, I knew that it would not be popular with the Republican Party. But, I saw the stimulus as necessary to lessen the risk of a far more serious recession than we are now experiencing.

Since then, I have traveled the State, talked to Republican leaders and office-holders and my supporters and I have carefully examined public opinion. It has become clear to me that the stimulus vote caused a schism which makes our differences irreconcilable. On this state of the record, I am unwilling to have my twenty-nine year Senate record judged by the Pennsylvania Republican primary electorate. I have not represented the Republican Party. I have represented the people of Pennsylvania.

I have decided to run for re-election in 2010 in the Democratic primary.

I am ready, willing and anxious to take on all comers and have my candidacy for re-election determined in a general election.

I deeply regret that I will be disappointing many friends and supporters. I can understand their disappointment. I am also disappointed that so many in the Party I have worked for for more than four decades do not want me to be their candidate. It is very painful on both sides. I thank specially Senators McConnell and Cornyn for their forbearance.

I am not making this decision because there are no important and interesting opportunities outside the Senate. I take on this complicated run for re-election because I am deeply concerned about the future of our country and I believe I have a significant contribution to make on many of the key issues of the day, especially medical research. NIH funding has saved or lengthened thousands of lives, including mine, and much more needs to be done. And my seniority is very important to continue to bring important projects vital to Pennsylvania’s economy.

I am taking this action now because there are fewer than thirteen months to the 2010 Pennsylvania Primary and there is much to be done in preparation for that election. Upon request, I will return campaign contributions contributed during this cycle.

While each member of the Senate caucuses with his Party, what each of us hopes to accomplish is distinct from his party affiliation. The American people do not care which Party solves the problems confronting our nation. And no Senator, no matter how loyal he is to his Party, should or would put party loyalty above his duty to the state and nation.

My change in party affiliation does not mean that I will be a party-line voter any more for the Democrats that I have been for the Republicans. Unlike Senator Jeffords’ switch which changed party control, I will not be an automatic 60th vote for cloture. For example, my position on Employees Free Choice (Card Check) will not change.

Whatever my party affiliation, I will continue to be guided by President Kennedy’s statement that sometimes Party asks too much. When it does, I will continue my independent voting and follow my conscience on what I think is best for Pennsylvania and America.

Swine Flu a Bush/Cheney Production - Part 2

OBAMA'S ATTEMPTS TO ADDRESS SWINE FLU BLOCKED BY RIGHT-WING

On February 5, Karl Rove took to the pages of the Wall Street Journal to argue against President Obama's Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act because, in his view, the spending was not targeted to create or preserve jobs. In particular,
Rove complained about the fact that the bill included "$900 million for pandemic flu preparations." He contended that such spending was unnecessary because the health care sector "added jobs last year."

Rep. David Obey (D-WI) included the pandemic preparation funding in the package because he believed "
that a pandemic hitting in the midst of an economic downturn could turn a recession into something far worse." But Rove was not concerned with the actual substance of the funding. Rather, as Paul Krugman explained at the time, in attempting to oppose and discredit the economic recovery package, conservatives in the media and Republicans in congress aligned themselves around a strategy that amounted to "snickering at stuff that they think sounds funny." Unfortunately, this "snickering" at funding priorities had very real impacts.

Indeed, like Rove, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) was apparently unwilling to be seen as endorsing such "funny" sounding priorities as flu "preparedness" in an economic recovery package. Perhaps in an attempt to prove her fiscal conservative bona fides, Collins repeatedly insisted that Obey's pandemic preparedness funding did not belong in the bill:

COLLINS:
There's funding to help improve our preparedness for a pandemic flu. There is funding to help improve cyber security. What does that have to do with an economic stimulus package? [CNN, 1/31/09]

COLLINS:
I think everybody in the room is concerned about a pandemic flu. But does it belong in this bill? Should we have $870 million in this bill? No. We should not. [MSNBC, 2/5/09]

After the funding was stripped, another moderate Republican attempting to appear tough on "unnecessary" spending in the recovery package, Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA), endorsed Collins' crusade against the pandemic preparedness funding on Fox News:

MS. KELLY:
Okay. $780 million for pandemic flu preparedness, in or out?

SEN. SPECTER:
Out. Very important projects, I took the lead along with Tom Harkin on some massive funding for pandemic flu, but it belongs in our regular appropriations bilL.

Now, in light of the current outbreak of swine flu, their attempts to placate the conservative wing of their party by standing up against extremely important funding priorities looks extremely shortsighted. Ironically, those ultra conservatives in office who led the fight against the stimulus, like Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX), are seeking government assistance in addressing the swine flu outbreak.

Is Swine Flu Pandemic a Bush/Cheney Production?

Masked Nuns in California

Forty microbiologists were murdered over a four year period. FORTY! Is it possible that Halliburton, KBR, Monsanto, and Gilead Sciences want a dry run, so that they can secure their billion-dollar contracts in the aftermath of a bird flu outbreak or a Bush-planned bioterror attack - for detention centers, quarantines and mandatory vaccines? The same players who 'rebuilt' New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina are still sitting at the table, poised for Bush's pandemic party. He'll be watching from the sidelines. Here is the story:

If you sell crack, join a gang, or rob the mob you can expect to die a violent death, but if you listen to your mother, eat all the right foods, and study hard in college to become a microbiologist, you should expect to live to a ripe old age and die peacefully. That being the case, a few eyebrows were raised when five microbiologists either disappeared or died mysteriously violent deaths in 2001. A short time later the number rose to 19, and then 29. They were found stabbed to death in the trunks of cars, thrown off bridges, or they wrapped their cars around trees after their brake fluid disappeared. Once again, this is the stuff of Hollywood spy stories, and not the way you would expect a microbiologist to give up the ghost.

By 2005, we lost 40 micro-biologists in less than 4 years, all under suspicious circumstances, and during this time someone discovered that they were all working for the government, or government contractors, on projects related to bio-terrorism, flu pandemics, or anthrax. Obviously they weren’t trying to find a cure for anything, or there would be no need to silence them.

Then it was discovered that our government was involved in strange experiments that involve exhuming bodies of people that were killed by the 1918 Spanish flu, and genetically engineered flu viruses, all the while the media is preparing the public with stories of bird flu wiping out thousands of chickens (acid test?) and even a few people here and there.

People who are becoming accustomed to the practices and motives of our criminal government tried to warn you of an impending flu pandemic, but your TV training taught you to dismiss them all as "crazy conspiracy theorists," and you naturally associated all their warnings with stories of Bigfoot and UFO abductions, just as you were trained to do.

The good folks of FEMA predicted a need for a few million plastic coffins, which are now spread out across the country, but despite this revelation, most of America still thinks their biggest concern is a toss up between the Super Bowl and American Idol.

Well it seems as if the crazy conspiracy theorists were right again, because the world-wide flu pandemic they were warning you about has been unleashed, and it will dominate the headlines until millions, if not billions of people are dead. It won’t be stopped because no one with the means to stop it wants to stop it.

This was posted by Bloomberg, a major business news network, over the weekend:

"
The World Health Organization is set to declare the deadly swine flu virus outbreak in Mexico and the U.S. a global concern...potentially prompting travel advisories...

An emergency committee of the WHO in Geneva will declare the outbreak "
a public health event of international concern" in a teleconference that began at 4 p.m. today, said the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the meeting is confidential."

If you're over 40, you've seen the "swine flu" routine before. It came out of the blue. The government created hysteria over it and tried to herd everyone into mandatory vaccinations. The vaccinations killed and disabled numerous people before they were discontinued.

Here's some material about ANOTHER government/media created hysteria-hoax, avian bird flu. The mechanics are the same. This video starts slow, but is worth watching and studying.

Study the Timeline
All the things discussed in the video were laid down during the pharmaceutical industry-friendly Bush administration. They're all still in place and Obama has shown no signs of dismantling or looking at the legal structures that make is possible for the US to:

1. Declare a pandemic.
2. Use this declaration as grounds for arrest and imprisonment without charge, without representation and for an undetermined amount of time.
3. Compel vaccination.
4. Remove any liability from the drug companies involved if their products kill and maim.

Study the timeline and see how an administration that could not get anything of value accomplished was a model of efficiency and speed in creating the infrastructures to make this happen. Note that in a previous video, local law enforcement are already being commanded by FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security to submit plans and run practice drills for vaccinating the entire US population in 48 hours or less.

Fortunately, this is a logistic impossibility if people are informed and don't cooperate.

Unfortunately, few are informed and a combination of draconian laws, garbage science, and a corrupt/incompetent media are working together to make "voluntary" acceptance a real possibility.

Obama Calls for Passage of PAYGO Legislation

Staying Ahead of the Game

In his weekly radio address, President Barack Obama called for a return to fiscal discipline, and outlined a four-step approach to reining in spending and eliminating waste.

It’s time to fundamentally change the way that we do business in Washington," said Obama. "To help build a new foundation for the 21st century, we need to reform our government so that it is more efficient, more transparent, and more creative. That will demand new thinking and a new sense of responsibility for every dollar that is spent.”

Obama, who held his first full cabinet meeting this week, said that he used the meeting to send "a clear message: cut what doesn't work."

He added that "we will continue going through the budget line by line, and we’ll identify more than 100 programs that will be cut or eliminated.” He did specify any of the programs, or say how much those cuts might save.

The president called on Congress to pass PAYGO legislation, saying that "we need to adhere to the basic principle that new tax or entitlement policies should be paid for… so that government acts the same way any responsible family does in setting its budget."

His plan also includes establishing a system for federal employees to submit ideas for cost cutting and a private sector forum on reforming government.

We cannot sustain deficits that mortgage our children’s future, nor tolerate wasteful inefficiency. Government has a responsibility to spend the peoples’ money wisely, and to serve the people effectively,” he said. “I will work every single day that I am President to live up to that responsibility, and to transform our government so that is held to a higher standard of performance on behalf of the American people.”

Beware of Consumer Check Guarantee Scam

Check Authorization and Approval Ripoff

Yesterday, I accidentally stumbled upon a consumer scam that, upon research, is apparently a nationwide effort that is creating problems for unsuspecting consumers nationwide. Here is what happened. My wife and I stopped into a Target store and when we arrived at the check-out counter, my wife wrote a check for the amount of purchase, $160.17. The clerk advised us that the check was not approved. Knowing full well that the check was good since we have much more than that in the account, I told her to run it again. She did and said we would have to use a credit or check guarantee card.

Less than happy, I was handed a receipt with the name CERTEGY on it and a telephone number of 1-800-831-7764. This company is located in Tampa. I called the number and an automated voice answered, "Welcome, Target customer". It went on to ask me for various types of identification, then told me that my check was good but it was rejected as part of a campaign that takes certain profiles of check cashers and rejects their checks to provide "greater safety", is part of a prevention program, and one that should "enhance my shopping experience". I was invited to become a Certegy Gold Member which gurantees a better check writing experience...my checks will be accepted in more retailers.

What kind of crap is this? I can write a check at any retailer without having to join your little club and pay you money to make sure my check is approved. At least that's what I thought. I went online to do some research and then it hit me. These guys sign up retailers (Target, Office Max, Circle K, Best Buy, etc.) to use their "Check Approval" services with the intention of rejecting a certain number of them without cause in an effort to sign them up for their CERTEGY GOLD MEMBER services.

Why would retailers want to sign up with this company? Because CERTEGY pays the retailer a commission on every new GOLD MEMBER. It is a scam to help retailers bring in more cash, to make money for this so-called Check Approval company, and to make life a little less convenient and more expensive for unsuspecting consumers.

I located a website filled with consumer complaints about this company. Here are just a few of the multitude of complaints. If this happens to you, complain to your Congressman.

Doug of Shelby AL (04/12/09)
Certegy refused to process a check from our church account in payment of our website services with GoDaddy.com. I spent 4 days back and forth with a certegy person telling me that there was no reason our check should not clear and GoDaddy being unable to get it to go through. Finally, in desperation I asked to speak with a supervisor at Certegy who informed me that they simply were not going to process the check and there was nothing that could be done. Because of this and the many other similar compaints of this firm's arbitrary and capricious actions I WANT THIS COMPANY SHUT DOWN!!! I urge everyone not to do business with companies that use Certegy, not even in cash, and let them know the reason.

Our church's website was taken down over Easter weekend - a time when traffic would normally be expected to increase.

Sterling of Lakewood OH (12/17/08)
I went to the Target store in Rocky River tonight and had a personal check refused through Certergy, or whatever it's called. I spoke to the manager and he said he couldn't do anything about it. Well, I can. I will NEVER set foot in any of [their] stores again. I've been going to Target since it first appeared in the Cleveland area, even purchased a microwave from that store a few weeks before. I'm 54, have a credit score of about 720, have never had a personal check refused in my life until tonight, have about $5,000 in that checking account they refused! I will also strongly encourage my kids to never buy anything from [their] stores again, don't know or care what [their] malfunction is, [they] have lost a customer for life.

William of Tyler TX (04/02/09)
I purchased business cards at Office Max that cost $141 and change. I wrote a check today April 2, 2009 for the amount of the charge that the clerk at Office Max was required to check with Certegy. To my astonishment and embarassment the check was declined. I then paid Office Max with my American Express card after the clerk told me Certegy said there were not sufficient available funds to clear the check. I left the store wondering what had happened.

I called Certegy and was told that I met a flagged profile and there was nothing they could do. I called my bank and was told that, as I knew, there is several thousands of dollars available in the account and thousands more in a backup account MMA.

I gather that this is not a new problem. I would like to know if there is a class action suit for public embarassment against this company. I would like to join the action.

I am also writing to the Office Max CEO about their business associates. I am a former CFO of a large corporation and I would never do business with unethical people.

Child Obesity is a Criminal Corporate Conspiracy

We are all aware that America has gone fat. Obesity is rampant. I remember when I was in school. It was pretty rare to have overweight kids in class. Looking back on my old elementary school pictures, I see one person who could be considered obese among several class pictures. It was a rare occurrence. Today, it is estimated that around 1/3 of our school children suffer from obesity. Why? Simple. It's a corporate conspiracy.

Did you know that public schools actually teach kids to eat hamburgers, bacon, fries and cokes as a way to control their weight?

Would it surprise you that Coca-Cola and McDonald's spend millions on "educational materials" for schools?

Don't kid yourself that eating junk is good for you just because the calories are low. Nature gave us plenty of foods that are perfect for health. We owe it to our kids to teach them the difference between garbage and real food, don't we? Ever heard of fruits and vegetables?

Here is a short 2-minute video made by a middle school chil
d that tells the story better than I can.

Senator Jim Webb Wants Marijuana Legalization Considered

Wise Words from a Legend

Speaking to CNN on Thursday morning in an effort to whip up political support for his prison reform proposals, Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) insisted that marijuana legalization should be "on the table." His bill, introduced late March, aims to establish a presidential commission to study prison reforms and drug criminalization and make recommendations to Congress after 18 months.

Senator Webb's bill is backed by Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) and has reportedly received "quiet encouragement from President Barack Obama." Some other stated supporters of Sen. Webb's reform proposals "include the current Judiciary panel head, Sen. Patrick J. Leahy (D-Vt.) and the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate, Richard J. Durbin of Illinois," noted the Times-Dispatch. Advocacy group Law Enforcement Against Prohibition has also posted an electronic petition form in support of the Webb commission.

"With so many of our citizens in prison compared with the rest of the world, there are only two possibilities: Either we are home to the most evil people on earth or we are doing something different--and vastly counterproductive," wrote Sen. Webb in a March 29 editorial in Parade. "Obviously, the answer is the latter."

As a means of addressing the "
national disgrace" -- as Webb says -- that is the US prison system, initial reports on the bill indicated that its authors intended for drug criminalization to be part of the study.

"
Would you support perhaps legalizing marijuana?" asked CNN's Kiran Chetry on Thursday morning.

"
I think what we need to do is to put all the issues on the table," said Sen. Webb. "You're correct: if you go back to 1980 as a starting point, I think we had 40,000 people in prison on drug charges and today we have about a half a million of them. A great majority of those are non-violent crimes, possession crimes or minor sales."

America Doesn't Want Gasoline Powered Cars

The Electric EV-1 - 200 Miles per Charge - Destroyed by General Motors

I'm not sure anyone is listening, but it's clear to most of us conscious carbon based beings that Americans reached the breaking point and made a collective decision that they don't want to be squeezed any longer by oil companies owned by the very people who have bankrupted this nation -- intentionally.

GM should be allowed to go into bankruptcy. They INTENTIONALLY deprived the American people of a wonderful electric car that would go an excellent 200 miles per charge.

That would easily take care of most people's daily commuting needs. Unfortunately, we're years away from having a battery like this right? Batteries just aren't good enough to power cars and free households from dependence on oil companies and electrical utilities, right? Wrong. It exists, or rather it existed. The battery problem has been largely solved and not just in theory, but in production. Then GM bought its way in as a condition for using the battery in its cars. Then it sold its share in the company to Chevron. And now the battery is gone.

GENERAL MOTORS IS AN ENEMY OF AMERICA'S TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

The US used to have a well developed electric street car system. What happened to these street car lines which could be found in every city from Boston to Los Angeles? General Motors & friends bought them up and destroyed them. THIS IS Not a conspiracy theory. It is a Historical fact, affirmed in court.

You know, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea if General Motors did go out of business. What has the destruction of the nation's street car system cost the country? A trillion dollars? Ten trillion dollars? You'd have to add up all the oil consumed that didn't have to be, all the environmental diseases that didn't need to happen, and all the economic constraints on poor and low income people that didn't need to be. Then there are the quality of life issues which are incalculable. Go to super-prosperous cities like Basel and Zurich in Switzerland and you'll see they excellent street car systems - just like we used to have in the US.

GENERAL MOTORS COMPLETES THE JOB AND SHREDS THE CARS

. . . and they didn't stop there:

To be fair to all it should be noted that
FORD Motor Company continues to outsource

Other Alternatives

The Air Car

READY FOR MARKET NOW

The BBC reported on the French version of this technology which we featured in an earlier item. This report from Australia goes into more depth and also covers an Australian version. How many billions of dollars in research and development funds would the big automakers claim they need to get this far?

Yet, the technology is here now, ready to exploit and it is not being used. What's the hangup? Why are we allowing ourselves to be dependent on foreign countries for our energy?
* spending billions to transport and refine a highly toxic material?
* polluting our air thereby sickening and killing people, especially children, with toxic fumes?
* putting a massive, daily
"transportation tax" on everyone who drives a car?

HENRY FORD'S AMAZING HEMP CAR

DEAR MR. PRESIDENT

Instead of wasting any more money on companies that put profits before the American people, why not put it in or buy out the following companies which are already producing and manufacturing the cars we want NOW -- not then.

TESLA MOTORS:

PHOENIX MOTORS:

APTERA:

Americans want cars powered by electricity, by solar, by air, by natural gas, by hydrogen . . . you name it and we will buy it. I am developing this idea as I write this .
