The events of September 11, 2001, have left a trail of sadness in America. In response to those events which may very well have been known in advance to some in the administration, America has seen a drastic change on the domestic front. Local law enforcement agencies have their own SWAT units. Over the course of eight (8) years we have seen police departments change before our eyes hiding behind the Patriot Act to resemble military units with little regard for the rights of the American people.

Unfortunately, despite the election of Barack Obama who very much believes in individual freedoms, there is little he can do to quickly change the environment created by the Bush administration and its love for torture and intimidation. Stories of police beatings and shootings of American citizens have increased exponentially and the arrogance and insolence of police is evident at every turn.

Check points are popping up all over the nation. Bush created an environment which encourage the police to disregard your rights. Welcome to an America no longer resembling the Land of the Free. Here is the story of a young man who is a pastor of a church and a liberal when it comes to his voting preference. His story is a frightening example of life in America today. Here is the story of this young man who was stopped at an Arizona check point.

"I told them I was a US citizen. I told them I was on a business trip. I told them I had no drugs or humans in the car. That wasn't enough. They wanted to search the car, and I invoked my 4th amendment rights. I DID NOT RESIST OR FIGHT BACK. YET I WAS TAZERED REPEATEDLY AND SHOVED IN BROKEN GLASS REPEATEDLY! I was IN the United States!!! I had crossed no international border!!!"

Bush Legacy Includes Domestic Military Operations

The Bush Legacy - From Prescott to George W.

As President Obama continues to attempt to erase the tremendous damage caused to this country by the Bush Administration, we now learn that Mr. Bush, whose policies caused the near destruction of our economy, the failure to maintain our infrastructure, the weakening of our military, and the decline of our reputation and international standing, has left us with one more problem. This video lasts less than one minute and shows the level of insidious behavior that became the trademark of George W. Bush.

The United States was left with a Plan B in case it's not possible to paper over the vast multi-trillion dollar looting that took place during the changing of the guard (Bush to Obama), then the US will be ready with an iron fist for its own people. Bush made sure that battle hardened troops are in place in the US being trained to "deal" with disgruntled Americans - in a "non-lethal" way of course.

The goal of Bush's grandfather, Prescott, was to overthrow the existing government and install a fascist regime with the ultimate goal of a global economy and a New World Order. His grandson was wildly successful in achieving many of Grandpa's goals. He should be tried for war crimes and treason.

Phoenix Police Raid Home of Blogger Who Criticized Them

In what should send a frightening chill down the spine of every blogger, writer, journalist and First Amendment advocate in the United States, Phoenix police raided the home of a blogger who has been highly critical of the department. Jeff Pataky, who runs Bad Phoenix Cops, said the officers confiscated three computers, routers, modems, hard drives, memory cards and everything necessary to continue blogging. The 41-year-old software engineer said they also confiscated numerous personal files and documents relating to a pending lawsuit he has against the department alleging harassment - which he says makes it obvious the raid was an act of retaliation.

Police officers accused of drunken driving. A female officer's alleged promiscuity and infidelity. A commander whose critics labeled his son a child molester. Jeff Pataky said he uses negative complaints and anonymous tips such as these to fuel his blogging crusade against Phoenix police. A headline on his Web site suggests rewards would be provided for "dirt" on police indiscretions.

Pataky, a former software sales and marketing executive who now focuses his energy shoveling content on www.badphoenixcops.com, said he believes his online criticism of the department - along with past criticisms of police investigations - led officers to serve a search warrant at his home last week. Police officials said Wednesday that a Phoenix detective prompted the investigation after complaining about harassment, though they declined further comment.

Pataky said he felt the investigation was a response to a lawsuit he filed on Monday in U.S. District Court saying he was maliciously prosecuted by police in 2007 after his ex-wife accused him of harassment, a case later dropped. In his lawsuit he's asking for an unspecified amount for damages. City officials declined to comment on pending litigation.

Pataky's blog is known in law-enforcement circles for its off-color language that, according to the blogger, is aimed at Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris, Maricopa County Andrew Thomas and other public officials. "Too bad. They need to get over it," Pataky said. "They are held to a higher accountability."

Pataky said he edits the blog and works with four or five people who receive tips from a variety of sources, including sworn and retired officers. Investigators confiscated computer material and other items from Pataky's north Phoenix home, which he considered a threat to quit writing.

"We have heard internally from our police sources that they purposefully did this to stop me," Pataky said. "They took my cable modem and wireless router. Anyone worth their salt knows nothing is stored in the cable modem."

Maricopa County Judge Gary Donahoe signed the search warrant that allowed at least ten cops to raid his home in North Phoenix on March 12 while handcuffing his female roommate for three hours as they tore the place apart. Pataky, who was out of town on a business trip during the raid, also believes police were retaliating against him for the content of his blog, much of it which comes from inside sources within the department.

“They broke into my safe and took the backups of my backups,” he said in a phone interview with Photography is Not a Crime on Wednesday. “I can’t even file my taxes because all my business plans are gone. They took everything.”

The search warrant lists “petty theft” and “computer tampering with the intent to harass” as probable causes. He has yet to see an actual affidavit that lists in detail the probable cause and is skeptical that one even exists.

Perhaps a Federal investigation relating to freedom of speech and civil rights is in order.

FEMA Camps Exposed by FOX News!

First, we need to get one thing straight -- I don't like FOX News and in my opinion, they are NOT fair and balanced. With that said, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Fox New Network is the first news network to ask the question

"Why has the US government has been building prison camps all over the country?"

During the Bush Administration, FEMA was given hundreds of millions of dollars to retrofit former military bases and other existing infrastructure so they can be used as "camps." Not camps as in summer camps. Camps as in prison camps, and perhaps even concentration camps.

One of the first thing the Obama Administration did was to legitimize their existence.

These camps, which can be found in every state in the union, currently sit empty and are intended to be pressed into service in the event of an "emergency." Funny that we've made it over 200 years without needing a national network of on-demand concentration camps. Why do we need them now?

It's been suggested they've been built to deal with a massive influx of illegal aliens. My guess is they were built with the knowledge that the US is going to experience a severe economic dislocation that is going to:

a) require the suspension or serious reduction of social welfare payments (i.e. millions of suddenly desperate people in the streets) and

b) financially wipe out tens of millions of formerly middle class Americans who are going to realize more or less all at once that their futures have been stolen from them by the people at the top

In other words, the crooks are covering their bets. When governments have money, they buy peace with social welfare programs. When they run out of money, as the US is doing, the gloves come off.

Or we can hope that these camps, built by Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root, were just another way for Cheney to rip off the country for his friends. Of course, nothing prevents both scenarios from being accurate.
