I'm not sure anyone is listening, but it's clear to most of us conscious carbon based beings that Americans reached the breaking point and made a collective decision that they don't want to be squeezed any longer by oil companies owned by the very people who have bankrupted this nation -- intentionally.

GM should be allowed to go into bankruptcy. They INTENTIONALLY deprived the American people of a wonderful electric car that would go an excellent 200 miles per charge.

That would easily take care of most people's daily commuting needs. Unfortunately, we're years away from having a battery like this right? Batteries just aren't good enough to power cars and free households from dependence on oil companies and electrical utilities, right? Wrong. It exists, or rather it existed. The battery problem has been largely solved and not just in theory, but in production. Then GM bought its way in as a condition for using the battery in its cars. Then it sold its share in the company to Chevron. And now the battery is gone.

GENERAL MOTORS IS AN ENEMY OF AMERICA'S TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

The US used to have a well developed electric street car system. What happened to these street car lines which could be found in every city from Boston to Los Angeles? General Motors & friends bought them up and destroyed them. THIS IS Not a conspiracy theory. It is a Historical fact, affirmed in court.

You know, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea if General Motors did go out of business. What has the destruction of the nation's street car system cost the country? A trillion dollars? Ten trillion dollars? You'd have to add up all the oil consumed that didn't have to be, all the environmental diseases that didn't need to happen, and all the economic constraints on poor and low income people that didn't need to be. Then there are the quality of life issues which are incalculable. Go to super-prosperous cities like Basel and Zurich in Switzerland and you'll see they excellent street car systems - just like we used to have in the US.

The BBC reported on the French version of this technology which we featured in an earlier item. This report from Australia goes into more depth and also covers an Australian version. How many billions of dollars in research and development funds would the big automakers claim they need to get this far?

Yet, the technology is here now, ready to exploit and it is not being used. What's the hangup? Why are we allowing ourselves to be dependent on foreign countries for our energy?
* spending billions to transport and refine a highly toxic material?
* polluting our air thereby sickening and killing people, especially children, with toxic fumes?
* putting a massive, daily "transportation tax" on everyone who drives a car?

Mystifying... No less an industrial and financial titan than Henry Ford demonstrated that the Hemp plant, the sister plant of marijuana, could be transformed into a lightweight material stronger than steel. The perfect material for car bodies. Watch this 38 second video and see the car Ford produced in 1941:



Who needs steel? Maybe the guys who owned all the iron ore and coal fields (the Rockefeller syndicate) needed steel which is why for decades this simple technological possibility has been denied to us.

For decades, wealthy industrialists trying to protect their industries from the superior qualities of the Hemp plant, have conspired to keep hemp (and marijuana) illegal. During World War II, when hemp was desperately needed for canvas and rope, the United States government produced this movie they called, "Hemp for Victory", while at the same time agreeing to pay anyone who grew hemp in the National interest. Well, it's time again. Our NATIONAL INTEREST DEMANDS IT. Pass this on to your congressmen and write letters to the editor. It's time we put foolishness aside in the political arena and proceeded with some common sense. Legalize hemp. It not only makes a lightweight steel, it also produces a clean burning biofuel.

GM killed off its original EV1 electric car during the 1990’s, a decision that its CEO Rick Wagoner admits was a bad move. These highly successful cars were put on the road by General Motors on a lease-only basis. People loved this car. In fact, Tom Hanks leased one and wanted to extend the lease at the end of its term. GM refused, recalled all of the cars, took them to the Mojave Desert, and shredded them. They then sold the trademarks and patents to the oil industry. Cars can Run on Air NOW

Odds are you've never heard of this car. Why not? Why is a French company developing it with zero help from the high rolling US-UK dominated global financial system which until recently had money for every loony scheme imaginable?

Answer: The banking system and the oil industry are closely intertwined and they want to protect their investment in the gasoline infrastructure at all costs.

Fortunately, France doesn't have the same commitment to gasoline as fuel that the US and UK does. France does have oil companies, but it doesn't have the equivalent of Exxon or Royal Dutch Shell. India doesn't either. But the French and the Indians do have superb engineers. Assuming that the collapse of the global financial system doesn't derail the launch of this car, India and France will have vehicles that are completely independent of the oil companies.

No toxic fuel, no toxic emissions, super low cost, utter reliability, and here's the really cool part: the "fuel" could be available anywhere there is room for an air compressor including your own home.

What's not to like about this? Why is the news of this technology all but banned in the US? The banking system and the oil industry (and news media industry) are closely intertwined. It's really that simple.

Facts: Scientific and historical about Gasoline and Alcohol

1. The original automobiles ran on alcohol because when they were invented gasoline was not available.

2. Rockefeller spent $4 million (that we know of) to promote Prohibition, a ban on alcohol manufacturing in the US that started in 1919 just as the car industry was taking off.

3. When Prohibition was lifted in 1933, gasoline stations were ubiquitous and most engines ran on gasoline only.

4. Alcohol can be manufactured locally and on a community level from renewable plant material for $1 per gallon.

5. The growing of plant material for alcohol would have no effect on the price of food.

6. The growing of plants for fuel would more than neutralize the carbon created by burning alcohol for fuel.

7. In Brazil, over 50% of new cars sold can already run on 100% alcohol.

8. Producing alcohol from plant material is incredibly energy efficient.

9. The oil companies aggressively promote garbage science to deceive the public into believing that alcohol fuels: a) will cause starvation, b) are uneconomical, and c) are net polluters.

10. Gasoline is a high toxic material.

11. It is entirely unneeded to fuel our cars.

12. Oil companies like Chevron have pressured PBS, commercial TV networks and other news media to keep this basic information from the public for decades - and the censorship continues to this day.

A Practical Solution

Bailing out our auto industry so that they can continue to produce high powered cars that get horrible fuel efficiency in opposition to what is needed in society is nonsense. A creative approach is needed. Since GM has already proven that they have the ability to produce efficient and effective electric cars, and since the oil industry chose not to develop the technology they bought from GM, but rather to bury it, I have a simple solution.

The oil industry has had its greatest years in history financially. Let's require THEM to bail out the auto industry and either put to use the technology they already purchased years ago, or to invest heavily in the alternative presented on this page. There is no reason that the American people should have to reach into their pockets when the technology and ability to produce is already there.
