What is up with UFO's?

More than half of American citizens believe UFO's are real and that there are visitors from outer space. Recent activity has done nothing to dispel that belief. Recent footage of a pyramid hovering over the Red Square in Moscow has gone viral. The footage was shot from a passing car. While some say it is a UFO, skeptics dismiss the ufo theory and say that if the images were for real, the public would have reported sightings to police - who are making no comment. Another clip filmed during daylight shows a fuzzy grey object on the skyline near Red Square.

This is hot on the heels of the strange spiral blue lights in Norway which authorities claim was simpply a missile test gone wrong. We had previously reported on a strange cloud formation above Russia.

Strange Skies Above Moscow Last Week

In what could have been a scene from the film Independence Day, a luminous ring-shaped cloud could be seen hovering over the city of Moscow last week. The pale gold 'halo' could be seen above the Russian capital city's Western District on Wednesday, and was captured on film by stunned Muscovites. Meteorologists rejected any theories of the supernatural however, calling it an optical effect.

Scientists Prove Roswell Debris is Extraterrestrial

Debris Discovered at Roswell in 1947

Newly discovered documents reveal that in the months immediately following the purported 1947 UFO crash at Roswell, secret government studies began on a material that was previously unknown to science. The "memory metal" that was studied precisely matches some of the debris material reported by several witnesses to the crash. Evidence shows that -under military direction- these unique metal studies were undertaken by a contracted laboratory that possessed advanced technical capabilities that the U.S. government itself did not have at the time. A former high-level scientist employed by the involved laboratory has offered a confession that he was tasked to study the crashed UFO material. Information provided by two U.S. Air Force Generals also offers direct support for this discovery.

The documents suggest that after the crash, the US government attempted to develop a unique material that is today referred to as memory metal. This shape-recovery alloy was reported by several witnesses to the Roswell crash in the summer of 1947. The lightweight "morphing" material was able to be crumpled or deformed and then return itself instantly and seamlessly to its original state. The metallurgical discoveries that resulted from these studies were then "seeded" for further technology development to other government agencies (including NASA) and through a series of military contracts to universities and industry.

The laboratory contracted by Wright Patterson Air Force Base to perform these studies was Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, OH. It has been credibly reported that Wright Patterson Air Force Base was the very base where the Roswell UFO debris was flown after the crash.

Astronaut Mitchell: "We Are Not Alone"

Earth Day may fall later this week, but as far as former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell and other UFO enthusiasts are concerned, the real story is happening elsewhere.

Former NASA astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, says "there really is no doubt we are being visited."

Mitchell, who was part of the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission, asserted Monday that extraterrestrial life exists, and that the truth is being concealed by the U.S. and other governments. He delivered his remarks during an appearance at the National Press Club following the conclusion of the fifth annual X-Conference, a meeting of UFO activists and researchers studying the possibility of alien life forms.

Mankind has long wondered if we're "alone in the universe. [But] only in our period do we really have evidence. No, we're not alone," Mitchell said.

"Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. ... We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there."

Mitchell grew up in Roswell, New Mexico, which some UFO believers maintain was the site of a UFO crash in 1947. He said residents of his hometown "had been hushed and told not to talk about their experience by military authorities." They had been warned of "dire consequences" if they did so.

FEMA Manual Admits Existence of UFO's

The Federal Emergency Management Agency publishes a manual for its firefighters that includes protocols for dealing with all types of emergencies. It is entitled, "FIRE OFFICER'S GUIDE TO DISASTER CONTROL". Chapter 13 is a stunner, "ENEMY ATTACKS AND UFO POTENTIAL". FEMA not only deals with credible threats such as hurricanes and terrorist attacks, but also with credible threats like alien attacks and UFO crashes: They have an entire chapter dedicated to this topic in their firefighters manual. Military Jets Chase UFO Over Arizona Town

A Visitor?

Living in Arizona, it's not at all unusual to hear reports of UFO's, or to see one yourself although confirming their identity is another matter. Well, on March 18, 2009, the residents of Lake Havasu City, home of the London Bridge, were treated to a show only surpassed by the Triangle lights that hung over Phoenix for over 90 minutes a few years ago. Here is the report:

LAKE HAVASU, AZ - A boomerang or triangular-shaped craft 300 feet in the air made four passes over this town beginning at 7 p.m. March 18, while "fighter jets" followed in formation, according to a witness report filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base is about 60 miles directly west of this area.

A family bar-b-que was interupted as the object made its first pass over the city while four jets trailed "an enormous craft clustered of dozens of amber lights/orbs." The witness said "we could all make out the triagle/boomerage shape because of the stars being blocked out as it passed them and by the small, very faint reddish glow or light at the tip of the 'wing.'"

Thirty minutes later, the same object again passed over town while the jets followed, but not in formation. Then during a third pass with jets following again, the witness said, "It definately blocked out the background stars and was boomerang shaped. Its amber lights at the center of the body were the strangest part. I could not tell if they were on the outide of the craft or if that part of the craft was transparent."

Thirty minutes later, the object made a fourth and final pass, the witness had obtained a video camera and shot footage. The following is the unedited witness report from MUFON. The witness quotes in the story above are unedited. We will follow up with more information on this case as it becomes available from Arizona MUFON investigators.

Boomerang or triangle craft, 300+ feet across spotted multiple times at apprx. 10,000+ ft. by multiple witnesses Wednesday night over Lake Havasu City/Needles, CA (video taken!).


First sighting

1st sighing - Wednesday night, March 18th apprx 7pm 2009 my family and I were enjoying a bbq/fish fry in my father-in-law's backyard. I noticed the fighter jet engine noise and looked to the sky. The first thing I noticed was 4 fighters with standard strobes flying in combat formation (Lead plane forward, wingman to the right and slightly behind).

There were two sets of two fighters trailing an enormous craft clustered of dozens of amber lights/orbs. They were all traveling North to South at a consisant pace at first sight, then changed direction at about 280 degrees South to head North-West. Traveling North-West, the craft and jets flew directly over our heads.

10 people were in the group, 7 people witnessed the event including myself. As the craft came dead straight above our heads, we could see clearly that it was a huge vehicle. At that time, it appeared to have a main body of amber lights and a "hull" and one wing outstretched to about 300+feet.

What was odd, was that we could all make out the triagle/boomerage shape because of the stars being blocked out as it passed them and by the small, very faint reddish glow or light at the tip of the "wing". The fighters jets kept pace and followed, maintaining the same distance througout.


Second sighting

2nd sighting - 30 minutes after the first sighting, the craft flew over again, this time the fighters were scrabbled and not in any noticable formation. The object itself was silent. that time, only my wife and I witnessed it while we were leaving to drive home. This was so impressive and the second pass inspired me to get home and get the video camera. When we arrived at our house a few minutes later, I could see it circling back around and coming our direction. I grabbed my binolulars and my wife and i faced South to watch it come back overhead.


Third sighting

3rd sighting - This time, with my binos, I saw the object perfectly. As I write this, my adrenalin surges a little and I get chills. at 10,000+ feet, this dark craft barely fit into view through the eye peices. I have 30 power binoculars to give some perspective. It definately blocked out the background stars and was boomerang shaped. Its amber lights at the center of the body were the strangest part. I could not tell if they were on the outide of the craft or if that part of the craft was transparent. They seemed to be clustered in an oval shape but some were slightly larger than others indicating that I could see the closest ones and the furthest ones simultaneously.

I could confirm that the wing tips had very miniscule lights on each end as well. This thrid pass, the fighters were trailing behind again. I got a sense of scale by that fact and was in awe. I handed the binos to my wife and she got a great look at it too. She has never seen anything like that and was speachless.

The craft and fighters left our sight again and I took the time to run in the house and dig out the video camera. We sat outside for about 30 minutes and I saw the craft circling for a fourth pass.


Fourth sighting

4th sighting - I was able to get it on film! I am not sure about the quality, I have not had time to review it on a large TV yet but will this afternoon. Of course lights in a dark sky could be anything but I am truly hoping the camera is sharp enough to show the darkened area of the craft when compared to the stars. that was one of the most impressive things I have ever witnessed!

Huge UFO Over Siberian City of 300,000

To all dedicated UFO believers:

UFO Over Siberia

On February 15th of this year at around 6pm the residents of the southeastern Siberian city of Chita (population around 300,000) in Russia, witnessed a giant UFO cross their city and then disappear over the horizon. Some managed to photograph the craft with their mobile phones. Shocked pedestrians stopped in the town centre and in parks and pointed to the sky declaring the object to be a UFO. Above is a photo of the craft.

One witness, a Ms. Anna Kotchetkova , who saw the object after her sons excitedly alerted her to it observed that it looked like ‘nothing on earth’. The UFO was described by witnesses as being completely silent and emitting no lights, its colour was grey-black and looked like a triangle with smoothed edges. Its shape was somewhat irregular and there was said to be some blurriness about the craft.

Other witnesses attempted to photograph the UFO but couldn’t due to its speed and difficulty focusing, however multiple photos are said to have surfaced. The UFO was estimated to be flying at around 500-1000 meters above land and appeared to be around the size of a Boeing 747. It was estimated to be moving at around 7 metres per second.

The incident is being widely reported in the Russian media and immediately after the sighting many members of the press made their way to the Siberian city. UFO research teams are also planning to visit the area to interview witnesses.  Many suspect a secret UFO base lies somewhere in the vast spaces of Siberia. This sighting adds weight to this view.

Sacramento News Chopper Videos UFO

SACRAMENTO, CA - News10 often receives calls from those who spotted something unusual in the night skies. It's not nearly as common for those calls to be backed up by our own Air10.

While shooting Friday Night Football highlights over Sacramento, Air10 pilot Ed Georges and FNF correspondent Angel Cardenas spotted a strange set of lights flying over their helicopter.

"I know what aircraft lighting looks like and this was definitely something different," Georges said. "It looked almost like a scrolling message on a blimp to the naked eye. I was at 1,200 feet and it was considerably higher."

Georges said he and Cardenas maneuvered the helicopter to get a better look at the lights through Air10's Power Zoom camera.

"(Angel and I) were both amazed at the odd lights and movement. I started flying toward it, but it began to fade away and disappeared to the southeast," Georges said. "Not knowing the size of the object, I couldn't determine how far away we were, but I believe it was some distance away as the image was fuzzy even through the PowerZoom camera."
